Yashika Okon is a dedicated professional with more than 25 years of experience in non-profit education and program management. As Senior Program Manager at Everybody Wins DC, she is committed to fostering student success and ensuring that schools and students have the resources and support they need to thrive. She is especially passionate about helping students in non-traditional ways—through mentoring, creative programming, and community partnerships that encourage learning both inside and outside the classroom. A proud graduate of Howard University with a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology, Yashika is a strong advocate for children and works tirelessly to help them build a solid academic foundation. Her career goal is to create environments where students can excel and reach their full potential. Yashika’s dedication to service was recognized when she was featured in Shondaland’s article, “5 Women Working for Social Good.” Outside of her professional work, Yashika enjoys spending quality time with her family, thrifting, and furniture flipping.
