Dr. Teresa Hill is an educational leader with more than 27 years of experience working with students, educators, and leaders. She has devoted her career to combatting achievement gaps. Her motto is “All children can learn . . . Period.”
Dr. Hill began her career teaching thirty-one kindergarten students in Peoria, IL. Since then, she has served as an assistant principal, principal, and assistant superintendent. Dr. Hill has served as a Superintendent of South Holland School District 151 since 2012. She is a wife, mother, and the First Lady of the St. Michael House of Prayer Church in Chicago, IL.
Dr. Teresa Hill has consulted with schools and presented at conferences across the United States, helping schools improve outcomes for underserved students. She is the author of The Instructional Leader’s Guide to Closing Achievement Gaps: Five Keys for Improving Student Outcomes, ASCD 2024.
