Dr. Kristin N. Brown is the Superintendent of Schools for Lake Dallas ISD, bringing over 25 years of experience in education. She began her career as a high school math teacher before advancing to leadership roles, including middle and high school principal, Assistant Superintendent for Curriculum and Instruction, and Superintendent of Lyford CISD. She joined LDISD in 2023. Recognized for her leadership, Dr. Brown was named a "Superintendent to Watch"by NSPRA in 2022. Under her leadership, Lyford CISD earned an "A"rating in student achievement, and its Board of Trustees was honored as an "Outstanding School Board"by TASA and TASB. Dr. Brown holds a doctorate in educational leadership from Texas A&M University–Kingsville, along with degrees in mathematics and educational leadership. She is passionate about investing in educators, expanding college and career readiness, and increasing technology access for students. With a leadership style rooted in integrity and innovation, she is committed to inspiring students, staff, and the community. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family and fishing with her husband.
