Corinne French is a passionate advocate for public education, student success, and leadership development. Currently serving as the Director of School Board Engagement at the Texas Education Agency, she is dedicated to teaching best practices and governance strategies for school board leaders.
With experience at the University of North Texas in various roles within the Division of Student Affairs and Advancement, including Director of Student and Young Alumni Engagement, Corinne has developed a deep understanding of higher education. She also served on a school board for 10 years and served on the Texas Association of School Boards (TASB) Board of Directors for Region 11.
Her career is built on making education accessible and equitable, driven by her extensive experience in both elected office and higher education. She collaborates with leaders statewide, providing training on Governance vs. Leadership, Women in Leadership, Strategic Planning, Leading in Crisis, Navigating Student Leadership, Redefining Readiness, and Well-Being for Leaders.
Joining the Texas Education Agency, Corinne continues to blend her passion for good governance and student success to support strong schools across Texas.
