Annabell Louis - Linden Public Schools

Annabell Louis

Assistant Superintendent for Support, Linden Public Schools
United States
Annabell brings a collaborative and compassionate leadership style to her role as Assistant Superintendent of Schools, where she champions equitable opportunities and student-centered practices. Her passion for working with youth led her to leave the pre-law career that she was pursuing and pivot to Social Work. After earning her Master’s Degree in Social Work, she served as a school social worker remaining committed to student advocacy and supporting students' overall well-being. A lifelong learner, she then completed a Post-Master’s Certificate in Clinical Adolescent seeking to impact students on a macro level. Her deep commitment to students led her to become the Supervisor of Student Services, where she played a pivotal role in shaping programs that promote both academic and social-emotional success. Throughout her career, Annabell has been recognized for her ability to build strong relationships with students, families, and staff, always centering her work on the belief that empathy is her North Star. In addition to her work in K-12 education, she has shared her expertise as an adjunct professor at Rutgers University. She has actively engaged in philanthropic work by volunteering with Comfort Zone Bereavement Camp, Big Brothers Big Sisters, Live Out Loud and The Fresh Air Fund. ?
